Bill Nye the Science Guy is a science education series created by Bill Nye, James McKenna, and Erren Gottlieb, with Nye starring as a fictionalized version of himself.

Show Description[]

  • Honored with over 15 Daytime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Children's Series, Bill Nye, the Science Guy stars former stand-up comic and science whiz Bill Nye. Cracking jokes and doing "whatever it takes!" to prove scientific theories, Nye challenges his viewers to, "Try it, don't take my word for it." Whether he's soaring through the air with the Blue Angels or dropping inside an active volcano from a helicopter, no stunt is too extreme for the Science Guy to prove how cool and exciting science can be. His series takes kids from the deserts of Arizona to the historic environs of Boston, to look at everything from fossils to farming to forensics. Each episode also features do-it-at-home experiments, which encourage participation from the whole family. - Noggin's Programming Site
