- To date, this is the final time that Sponk!, Bill Nye the Science Guy, 3-2-1 Contact, The Electric Company, and Sesame Street Unpaved, aired during Noggin's daytime block.
- Five of these shows would continue to air during The N block and/or Cable in the Classroom.
- This marks the first appearance for Feetface as Noggin's mascot. On this day, Noggin premiered a nighttime block called The N, where its pre-teen programming would air from then on. Before, pre-teen shows aired throughout the day. The daytime preschool block was also extended to last 12 hours. With the new schedule, Noggin became the first preschool channel since C-3 (also known as Pinwheel) which aired from December 1, 1977-March 31, 1979.
