Since February 2, 1999, all programming on Noggin/Nick Jr. (including its former nighttime blocks) has been prefaced with a rating bug at the start of each's program. The rating's bug design can be used to narrow down when a program was recorded.

2011 - September 4, 2023 | A large version of the transparent circle bug was used at the beginning of programs. A secondary/small version was introduced sometime in 2012 which was only used after programming breaks. | |

An alternate black rating bug with a different font was only used for the NickMom block from its first day on-air until its final date. Large version used at the beginning of the program. Small version used after programming breaks. | |
September 4, 2023 - present | An orange blob zooms up to the screen to become an orange box, with the rating sliding down from the top of the box before turning transparent. Large version used at the beginning of the program. Small version used after programming breaks. |
